This project was spread out over a period of time to remodel both interior and exterior aspects of this home. First was the downstairs, then the outside, then the upstairs. A 2 story tract home from the 1970s, it had been expanded downstairs to enlarge the family room. There were issues with settling as the tile floor had long crack lines throughout the 1st floor. Those issues were addressed and new looks were created throughout the whole home.
Downstairs: new tile floor, molding, 5.1 surround sound, lighting, cabinetry, storage and closet space, remove/replace popcorn ceilings, new textures on walls and ceilings, paint, and carpeting.
Add for new window coverings and fixtures to complete the look.
Upstairs: new bathrooms, new carpeting (minus squeaking subfloor), molding, closet organizers, doors, lighting, handrails, attic storage space, insulation, 5.1 surround sound, and window coverings.
Exterior: regrade the front yard for a flat space for the kids to play on, which meant retaining- wall- strength decorative block wall, iron work (gates and railing), concrete and patio work, stone, sprinklers, and lawn/garden work.
Completed 8/2010.
